Friends of the Library are hosting an open house for our Children's Librarian Mary Rose Mataitis retirement on Thursday, May 1st from 3-5 pm. All are welcome to come and wish Mary Rose good luck.Mary Rose has worked for the library for about eight years. She has helped to expand the children storytimes and children's area. She has been very instrumental in updating our computers and helping the patrons with their computing questions. Young moms have come to rely on her expertise and experience with children.
Mary Rose will be greatly missed by the library patrons, children and library staff.
