Ocean Sailing with Kent Keller

The Friends of the Library April's Hot Read Program is Kent Keller talking about his ocean sail from New Zealand to Fiji. A 1500 mile voyage across the open ocean. Do not miss this exciting program on Monday, April 7th at 7 pm in the library.

Kent bought the Passport in 2001 and she is a 48 foot sloop-rigged sailboat designed by Laurie Davidson, designer of New Zealand's two winning America's cup boats. Kent was going to sail with a friend from New Zealand but he cancelled, so Keller welcomed the chance to "go it alone".

Come and hear his exciting adventure and learn more about sailing. Refreshments will be provided and a free will offering for Friends activities will be taken.
