Arbor Day

A man has at least made a start on discovering the meaning of human life when he plants a shade tree under which he knows full well he will never sit. Elton Trublood (1900-1994)


Friday, April 25th is National Arbor Day an observance that encourages tree planting and care. Founded by J. Sterling Morton in Nebraska in 1872, National Arbor Day is celebrated each year on the last Friday in April. Visit the Arbor Day website:
