Last night Pat Coy talked about her two travels to Ireland with her husband George. Pat used a map and pictures so that all could see the beauty of the land and sea. We loved the beautiful scenery, marveled at how narrow the roads and steep the mountains, and how far they travelled each day. Truly a great program. And yes, her husband kissed the Blarney Stone. Pictured above 1-r Pat Coy, some of the items she had on display that were bought in Ireland, a tea pot. 1-r There were ten people who enjoyed the program and the great refreshments. There were prizes given away-two cups and seven Eagle Center tickets.
The next Hot Reads Program will be Kent Keller talking about his ocean sail from New Zealand to Fiji. A 1500 mile voyage across the open ocean. Do not miss this exciting program on Monday, April 7th at 7 pm.
