Friends of the Library Officers l-r:Library Director Bonnie Adams, Member-at-Large Pat Coy, Bookkeeper Nancy Bauman, Chair Clint Patterson, Treasurer Mona Draheim, and Member-at-Large Lois Gardner. The first quarterly board meeting of the Kasson Friends of the Library was held today at 10:30 am in the library. Agenda highlights:
- Book and Video Sale on Thursday, April 3rd 10-6, Friday, April 4th 10-5, Saturday, 10-12 and a $1.00 Bag Sale on Monday 10-5. New this year will be for Friends Members Only-Early Book Sale on Wednesday, April 2nd , 4-7. This would be a good time to renew your membership ($12.00/yr.) or sign up for a membership to take advance of this special bonus.
- Hot Reads for Cold Nights update-next program is Ocean Sailing with Kent Keller, Monday, April 7th, at 7 pm in the library.
- An Open House is planned to honor Library Director Bonnie Adams for National Library Workers Day, on Tuesday, April 15th.
- Children's Librarian Mary Rose Mataitis is retiring Thursday, May 1 and there will be an Open House 3-5 honoring her eight years of service to the Kasson Library.
