Christmas with Grandpa and Grandma is December's intergenerational story theme at Prairie Meadows Assisted Living facility in Kasson. The mom's and children have been busy preparing for the intergenerational storytime with stories, carols, ornaments and cookies.
Library Director Bonnie read two stories, Little Miss Spider's Christmas Wish and The Tweleve Dogs of Christmas to the enjoyment of all.
The children made reindeer ornaments out of popsicle sticks, pipe cleaner, eyes, and a red ball. Everyone had a great time making and sharing these ornaments with the seniors. The peanut butter cookies (with Hershey kisses) and sugar cookies were a huge hit with all of us.
