While looking for information I ran across this great on-line reading series called Tumblebooks. TumbleBooks is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach young children the joys of reading in a format they'll love. The TumbleBook Library has a large selection of children's favorite story books including Diary of a Worm, The Paper Bag Princess, and One Duck Stuck. In addition, the Language Learning Section has a growing selection of books in Spanish, French and other languages.Tumblebooks can be accessed for free on the Des Moines Public Library website from any computer with an Internet connection.
