Our book drop was vandalized this week after less than one month in operation! A community of people came together for over a four month time to help fund and work on this project. All are deeply saddened and disappointed in this act of senseless vandalism.
A book drop has always been a goal, of the Kasson Library and the Friends of the Library, to have for the convenience of the library patrons. On Tuesday morning Library Director Adams discovered that someone had repeatedly kicked the book drop enough to cause the front to be damaged so that it had to be repaired.
Due to this vandalism our book drop is currently out of order for repairs. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause! :(
