Have you wondered what is an android or what makes a phone a Blackberry? Are iPhones the best? These questions and many more were answered by Kasson's Librarian Mike Riedel at his Tech 101 class on Wednesday, May 16th. Riedel held two classes and helped answer questions from patrons that were interested in purchasing a smart phone. Riedel's prepared handouts on difference types of phones, great downloadable apps, and what features might work best for their live style.
Kasson Public Library has committed Riedel to bimonthly Tech 101 classes that help patron's navigate electronic devices. In the past we have held 12 classes on how to download books whether they be from a library or online bookstore, and give information on e-devices. These classes have been very well received from the library patrons and their friends. If you have a topic you would like us to cover please email me at badams@selco.info.
