Marcia Drazkowski is 2012 Friend of Year

The Friends of the Kasson Library held their annual meeting Saturday, February 18th at the Hubbell House in Mantorville and President John Talcott chaired the meeting with eighteen members in attendance.

The highlight of the afternoon was The Friend of the Year award and Marcia Drawkowski was chosen as the 2012 Friend of the Year. Last year's recipient Mona Draheim presented the award to Marcia.

Each year the Friends' organization choose a member that exemplifies the attributes a Friends of the Library should possess in helping promote library programs and library services. Marcia has always worked hard at the at 3-4 book sales each year, and willing to do whatever is asked of her at the many library programs over the years.
