Today's storytime featured Jason from the Kasson Public Utility Department. The children and their mom's got really up close and looked at an electrical cherrypicker. Jason explained the safety procedures used on his truck. The group learned that the truck can be remotely started, and the bucket and base of the truck can control the boom bucket. The children had a great time.

Children got to drive small trucks and see the tracks the tires make on the paper.

Children's Librarian Ingvild read stories about hats and all the fun you can have wearing different types of hats. Over thiry children and their familes came to hear the stories and do the exciting crafts.

Today the children made newspaper hats and decorated them to suit their own unique personality.
