Stars is the subject of this week's storytime for Dream Big...Read our 2012 Summer Storytime Theme.
Children's Librarian Ingvild gets lots of laughs and silliness when she plays her auto-harp and has the children sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star very fast, slow and regular. Come join the other children and parents for our very informational and entertaining storytime Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:30 in the library.

Magician Star Michaelina
Kasson Public Library sponsored a free Minnesota Legacy Program with entertainer Star Michaelina to over 253 children at the Kasson Elementary School Gym on Thursday, June 21st.
Magician Star Michaelina's wowed the crowd with her interactive magic show with tricks involving books and the importance of reading. The children thoroughly enjoyed her performance especially when Star brought a young child up and talked about the main character Douglas the Dog and created a balloon version of the dog.
This program and many other activities are part of the 2012 Dream Bg...Read Summer Reading Program sponsored by the Kasson Library, Friends of the Library and local businesses. Check out our website for summer reading program information. http://www.kasson.lib.mn.us/Summer.html

The Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (ACHF) was created by the people of Minnesota to support the arts and preserve our cultural heritage. The Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment was passed overwhelmingly by Minnesota voters in November 2008.
